Breakfast was decent. Staff was nice. The room clean. The bed comfortable. Bathroom clean but needs updating. However, we had a fire alarm start beeping around 12:45 AM. Called down to the desk about 1:15 after I finally found a direct number to the front desk. I was told no one could come do anything about it till 7AM, so there was nothing they could do. The alarm was goung off at least every 20 seconds the entire night. This was frustrating as sleep was impossible. We were extremely tired after a six hour ride to attend a funeral. When we had mentioned this when checking out the staff seemed indifferent. I feel this whole horrible night could have been avoided if someone had just brought us a fresh battery. We tried to remove the one in the alarm but the alarm kept going off. We can only assume the battery was some type of backup as it appeared hard wired. I was frustrated that no one seemed to care that we had such a bad night prior to attending a funeral and having to drive 6 hours back home.
