The living area features plush seating for the whole family, a flat-screen TV, and a dedicated workspace for the occasional business traveler. Comfortable Accommodations
NorthStar comfortably accommodates your group across four bedrooms. On the top floor, you will find three bedrooms:
Master Suite: Featuring a king-sized bed and a private full bathroom.
Secondary Bedrooms: One room with a queen bed and another with two twin beds, sharing a full bath. Half bath located off of living room.
All upstairs bedrooms are appointed with high-quality linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a sun-filled day.

Downstairs Mother-in-Law Suite
For added flexibility, the home features a detached downstairs mother-in-law suite, accessible via a private exterior entrance. This suite includes the fourth bedroom, a third full bathroom, a comfortable living area with a flat-screen TV, and a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, and electric stove—perfect for couples needing a little extra privacy and convenience.

Top Deck: Catch the sunrise or relax with a book on the spacious oceanside deck, which offers ample seating and sweeping views of the Atlantic.

Parking for up to 4 vehicles is free in the driveway. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am.

NorthStar is sure to be a repeat family destination for years to come. Public beach access is a short walk away, no direct beach access from the home. The home includes WIFI, washer/dryer, cable TV, and all the modern conveniences you would expect in a high-end vacation rental. The home is strictly non-smoking and not pet-friendly.

**HOUSE SUPPLIES**
This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

We enjoyed our stay at Northstar. Property is well managed and check/checkout was seemless. The first floor room was less desirable and appeared to count for 4 of the stated sleeping count. Some of the fixtures were worn and could stand to be updated, but overall - no problems or complaints. Property was a quick walk to the beach and a preserve hiking area. It was a drive into town and the cost of parking varied 10-30 per day depending on expected traffic.

The downstairs unit is totally separate, which may suit some larger families well. It is below ground, and less airy, but the separate nature was more of a plus than a minus. Two kitchens.

Great spot near the bird sancturary

We were 4 friends of a certain age and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Northstar. Our goal was to be as close as possible to the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve which NS was perfect for. Our only complaint was the lack of shade on the deck until late afternoon. We brought our own unbrellas, but they didn't hold up very well in the wind. Would definately rent again.

Family xmas

Daughter and family live in Ladson/Summerville so myself, husband son wife sister and her adult children came down to celebrate with them. It was perfect we had beach time and family time. Weather could have been better but we left -10 In Missouri so can’t complain

The pictures do not give this place justice. Nice to be away from the busy beach area. Great stay and when we had a small accident st the house, the owners answered right away to fix the problem. The downstairs is total separation from the main house. Loved staying in there. Bathroom was amazingly huge. Kitchen has everything. They have already welcomed us back, which might happen in the future. Would enjoy this house any time of year with any group of people.

The house was great. The downstairs unit was a little musty. I needed to wash my clothes even if I didn’t wear them. But, the view from upstairs was amazing. Not sure if our family will stay there again because of the condition of the basement unit

Charleston Girls trip

This was a perfect property for our group of 10. There was plenty of space to hang out in the kitchen/sitting area as well as the porch. The beach was a short.walk and having the beach chairs delivered was perfect. The home was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. The only negative which was not anything to do with the host is that it can be a challenge to get uber/lyft reliably out there. I would highly recommend getting in touch with Cool Cab on Folly Beach for a family owned business to transport to and from downtown Charleston and/or airport.

Amazing house with great views

We had our entire family for vacation. Plenty of space and a wonderful open area at front of house to enjoy the amazing views. The house was extremely clean!! Loved having the washer and dryer in the main bath. The downstairs space smelled a little musty at first but we just opened the windows and let it air out and everything was great. The downstairs apartment is a GREAT space. All bedrooms at back of house. So no views but with having the bedrooms at back allowed the entire front house have amazing views!! No many steps to have to access house which we really enjoyed with small kids and older parent. Quite beach and plenty of room to play and have fun on beach!!! We can’t wait to visit again!!!
