The staff was helpful. The hotel is old. The room was clean but the top sheet over the quilt had a stain. There was a scorched smell in hallways. Did not feel safe in the parking lot.

Very nice and conveniently located just off I-64.lots of dining options nearby. The staff was very friendly specially Amanda at front desk who made our check in a breeze. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to CharlestonWV

The check in process was easy. But the sheets on the bed were dirty and rough. We had to go downstairs to get more to put on the bed. The refrigerator wouldn't close because there was too much ice on the freezer portion. So we couldn't use that. Although the tub didn't drain properly and the tub was dirty, the water was hot and the pressure was good. Lastly, the continental breakfast was very lack luster.

There never seemed to be anyone at the desk. We were on the third floor and the sewage smell in one of our rooms was horrible and the toilet stopped working. That room was changed further down the hallway. My room was next to this room and the smell started coming out of my bathroom. We were leaving in the morning so didn’t want to deal with moving rooms. Breakfast was very good and hot and was constantly stocked.
