Newly refurbished, this comfortable and traditional Cretan villa is owned and cared for by the same charming local family as nearby property Anna, a firm favourite of Vintage Travel guests. With its lovely private pool with separate children’s section and views across the olive groves towards the sea, Dimosthenis is ideal for families wanting to be walking distance (1km up and down hill) to three excellent value tavernas, a short drive to several beaches and close to the chic town of Chania.
Accommodation is set across three floors: the living space with access to a comfortable exterior seating area with views across down the valley and the sea beyond, is on the ground floor. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor which open out onto a shared balcony, there is also a shower room and a separate covered terrace with views towards the sea to one side and across the pool to the other. Two further bedrooms, with sloped ceilings, and a shower room are located on the second floor. There is space to relax with family and friends outside and a barbecue area preparing for meals al fresco.

The bustling Agia Marina (3km), and neighbouring Platanias, both offer long beaches, a wide choice of tavernas, boat trips and an array of water sports. For those looking to be close to wildlife and nature, Agia Lake can be reached in just 15 minutes by car, the ideal venue for walking, cycling and mountain biking through the rolling hills and pretty countryside.

Being located close to Anna means Dimosthenis could be a good choice for an extended family or a group of friends, who can be near to each other whilst retaining their own individual space and privacy. Please note the villas are on different arrival days, however outside of summer months  increased flexibility is available when booking both villas.
Please note: The Greek Government has introduced a Climate Tax which is payable by guests staying in hotels and other properties. For Dimosthenis the charge is a flat rate of €15 (£13.04) per night. For your convenience we will add this amount to your booking, rather than you having to pay it in resort.
