The architectural complex is an ancient settlement documented as early as the 14th century as a monastic settlement and summer residence of the Dominican Fathers.
It was later converted into a farmhouse and summer residence for the Palamara family, who acquired it in 1868.

The villa is just a few minutes’ drive from Cefalù, home to its magnificent Norman Cathedral, an UNESCO World Heritage Site; a half-hour drive from Castelbuono, a charming little medieval town featuring the Ventimiglia Castle and renowned for its culinary delights; and close to the hiking trails of the Madonie Park.
