Staff was great. Parking not convenient. Entertainment system is ridiculous - requires two remotes, the ‘Described Video’ engages intermittently and remains on until the user goes into settings and disengages it, only to have it engage again, and again - ridiculous.

Parking was easy and secure. Hallway carpets very dirty. No mention of a hot tub?? Rooms nice but very small. Got put on the main floor and at the back of the hotel facing the back of another building because we booked through Expedia. Hotel was not budy at all. Few guests actually staying here at this time. Another customer checking in got bottled waters, when asked why we didnt, we were told because you booked through Expedia. Could not get a dinner reservation in there restaurant even though we were staying there. Its a popular restaurant for the locals. However we did get a early check in.

Came to Nelson for the night , looking for a hotel came in to the best western. Staff said they could do a room for Canadian. Still a lot of money for a solo traveler . Went for a walk in town looked at my hotels.com app . Found a room at best western for taxes in .Went back to reception and booked for a night . Thought it was a good deal . Until I checked on my banking and saw that $ was in USA currency. Worked out to $ can . Feel completely ripped off as the site didn’t say USA FUNDS . Not impressed. Learn from mistakes. Will probably delete app as I feel I got . Probably my fault. Hotel wasn’t able to correct it as well . Still $ lots for a shoe box for a room and a view of a brick wall . Staff was friendly though.
