Overall we enjoyed our Stay. Room was clean and cozy. The 'Standard room' bed size is definitely a Full and Not a Queen. We booked here with the idea that we'd be able to park in front of our room for the night so we could leave some items in the car. However there are rooms here that are tucked in the back that you can't park in front of. If we were to book again we'd call to request a room with direct packing. Ice machine has a well used scoop.. Area felt safe and is really close to downtown Nelson shopping and dining.

The price is too high but the bbq area saved us $40-50 eating out (which we dislike) Comfortable king bed, and even the pillows were adequate which is very rare. Low water pressure due to site situation I guess. The jetted tub was underwhelming and not used. Staff was incredible both times we stayed, even when my hubs made me very angry leaving, the staff called later to make sure the stay was not my issue.

We stayed here as pet friendly. Rooms have had some updates. Parking is plentiful.Everything is a long walk away. Laundry and BBQ are nice to have.Lots of regulars to talk to outside in the evenings.

Our room was not huge and was tucked away behind the front reception area, which made it private/secluded. It had three windows which all opened to let fresh air in. The room was very clean, bedding and towels were white. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower was good. The room had glass and ceramic drinking vessels (as opposed to paper/plastic found in many other mid range hotels) We walked everywhere from this location - definitely got our steps in. Our dog was welcome at this property and everywhere else in Nelson. We will return.
