La Boulangerie: a characterful gîte for two

Once the hamlet’s bakery, La Boulangerie is a compact, independent gîte for two in Cassagnes, in the Lot. Its exposed beams, former bread-oven window and mezzanine bedroom give it a distinctive character, while the private terrace overlooks the shared swimming pool and gardens.

Bedroom and shower room

One king-size memory-foam bed, 160 × 200 cm, on an open mezzanine. Bed linen is provided.

Steps and access

The bedroom is upstairs on an open mezzanine reached by stairs; the shower room is on the ground floor. Please contact us before booking if you need details about the entrance, shower access, doorway widths or the route from parking.

Kitchen and living space

Your private kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine. There is space to cook, eat and relax at your own pace.

TV with English, French and Dutch channels, streaming apps and high-speed fibre Wi-Fi are provided. An Alexa speaker is also provided.

A heat pump provides heating and air conditioning. La Boulangerie has no wood-burning stove.

Your terrace and shared facilities

Your private terrace has outdoor dining space and views of the shared pool and gardens.

The heated outdoor pool is open from May to the end of September. Opening outside these months depends on the weather. You can also enjoy the property’s 17 acres of gardens and woodland. La Prairie’s private jacuzzi is not included with this individual booking.

What is included

Bed linen, bath towels, pool towels, heating, Wi-Fi and private on-site parking are included. Optional food hampers and other extras have an additional charge and are subject to availability. Food orders and hampers require at least 24 hours’ notice; prices are shown at checkout and in your digital welcome pack after booking.

Plan your stay

Individual gîte bookings welcome guests aged 16 and over. Pets are not accepted. Quiet hours are 23:00–08:00. Events are permitted only when all three gîtes are booked for exclusive use, by prior agreement. No security deposit is required for individual bookings.
