The check in process was smooth and front desk staff was helpful. My room was clean and came with a free bottle of water. The air conditioning worked very well. The hotel has a pool and outdoor bar. Food at the bar was just okay. It was difficult to get Ubers from Carvoeiro to Portimao and Praia da Rocha, so keep that in mind if that’s where you’re planning to spend most of your time.

Comfort in Portugal

Friendly and welcoming staff. Cocktails were delicious and had a great deal. Very relaxing atmosphere. The view from the room wasn’t the best (parking lot) but it was a comfortable stay and being poolside was amazing.

Staff was friendly. We had the meal plan that included breakfast and dinner - each day was a different buffet. Breakfasts offered hot and cold options, and the dinner had salad, warm entree selections, and desserts. Property was a short drive to pretty beaches, shopping, and more.

Pros: 1. The pool looks nice; however , we didn't use it. 2. The apartment is so big with huge balcony. Cons: 1. The Apartment and the balcony were so dirty. 2. The bathroom had tons of mosquitos everywhere. 3. No trash pins in the bedroom, the living area or the kitchenette. 4. You get hot water for just few minutes, after that it turns to cold. When we asked about it, we were told to have to be quick when you shower. 6. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. 7. We got the room so late, close to 4 pm so it was waste for our day.

Superb stay

This hotel is a hidden gem. Perfect location, quiet area. Easy parking. Only minutes away from all the activities at the beach. From the moment you walk in you’ll feel at home. Staff was very helpful. The room and towels were very clean. AC worked perfectly. Breakfast buffet was superb. Please try this hotel if you’re ever in the Carveiro area. I’ll come back for sure.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, with large beds, a/c and renovated bathrooms. It was cleaned daily. The pool and bar/restaurant outside were lovely. The reception desk staff were friendly and helpful. It’s quite a healthy walk back from town, up a long steep hill. But if you have a car, you can park near the bottom of the hill to make it easier after a night out.

All good at this hotel except there was banging near us every time the elevator landed on the first floor where our room was. Also loud squeaking when the restaurant kitchen doors opened and closed which was just below us. So sleep was constantly interrupted. Otherwise the hotel was clean, roomy and the breakfast was good.
