The room was clean, staff was super nice, breakfast was fresh and everyday they had some different fruits and baking, the rooftop bar had actually really view and amazing piña colada. Only one negative thing was the internet was not stable at all. Every night, some party buses pass by until midnight with loud music. If you need good night sleep, you might need ear plugs.

Our room had a very bad smell- when I asked to move to another room, they had non available. I was told that they will put some air fresheners in the room but that was not done. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom on the 2nd day! Breakfast was ok, same thing every day. The staff does not know English at all, only the people at the reception. Very slow service. The pool and location were the only 2 good things.

This hotel is in a far corner of the Getsemani neighborhood, super walkable to the walled city. It has good bones and the potential to be such a gem, but felt like the whole place needed a good scrubbing from floor to ceiling. We did love the pool- small but clean with a nice bar area. Staff were helpful! Breakfast wasn’t the best we had in Colombia- average. Overall, a pleasant stay. Also a note- we are a family of 4 with school aged children. This neighborhood had many bars and there was music pretty late into the evening. Not the hotel’s fault, but something to consider in choosing an area to call home base.

Outstanding hotel with amazing staff. We had a corner room with a second bed and bathroom in a mezannie. Very comfortable beds in an outstanding location. Great breakfast. Closed to the bars and restaurants in Getsemani, but far enough to keep the noise away. That said, the hotel seats next to a busy road, and the drivers in Cartagena love to honk their horns, so earplugs are a must for sleeping (I always wear ear plugs when sleeping in hotels anyways). We slept great despite of the traffic. You can walk everywhere in Cartagena from this hotel. The hotel architecture and rooms are perfect, but the pool can use some love. Not a deal braker. I would definitely stay here again because of its location.
