Every single person we encountered—from the bellboys, reception, and restaurant staff to room service—went above and beyond to make our stay special. What meant the most to me was how much love and care they showed my wife and my son. They weren’t just welcoming us as guests, they made us feel like family. Whether it was a friendly smile, remembering little details, or simply making sure we were always comfortable, their attention and thoughtfulness touched us deeply. Cartagena is beautiful on its own, but the people at Bastión Luxury Hotel are what truly made our trip unforgettable. Beautiful hotel and great service, with a few areas to improve I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Bastión. The property is beautiful, luxurious, and truly welcoming. The design and atmosphere create a unique experience, and the staff was kind and professional throughout my visit. However, I did have to leave one night earlier than planned due to a force majeure situation, and I found the hotel to be rather inflexible about adjusting the reservation accordingly. It would have been appreciated to receive a bit more understanding in that regard. The only real downside was breakfast — both in terms of quality and the time it took to get service from the kitchen. There's definitely room for improvement there. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

An unforgettable experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. Héctor and Hania were incredibly kind and helpful—always attentive and making us feel right at home. I also had a massage with Sandra, and it was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had—so professional and relaxing! The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the overall cleanliness and kindness of the entire staff truly stood out. We 100% recommend this place and can’t wait to come back next year.
