Beautiful property with absolutely amazing and welcoming staff. The breakfast here was phenomenal, and the pool was a great escape from the heat. The hotel is located on a quieter street nearby everything that you would need - convenience stores, highly recommended dinner spots, and lots of rooftop bars. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is overall very nice. Our stay was pleasant however we had to switch rooms on our second night due to some issues (noise, TV not working, shower drain blocked). Something to note is that only the rooms on the newer, left wing of the building have openable windows and therefore natural light and ventilation.

Fabulous stay in Cartagena

Hotel Bantu was a fabulous home base for our visit to Cartagena! The staff provided a friendly welcome, and I appreciated their ability to speak with me in English and assist with local recommendations. The property is beautiful and inviting (as well as safe!), including a lovely daily breakfast and a comfortable, air conditioned room. The location was fabulous, walkable to key locations and many restaurant options nearby. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Bantu.
