I booked The Beach House for my solo birthday trip. This was my first time traveling solo and I must say I picked the perfect time and place. I was a little concerned at first because I read some bad reviews about the area and the hotel. Im not really sure what others experienced with the bad reviews, but I had the best time and loved that I was able to wake up every morning and see the ocean while I was still lying in bed. It’s also a very walkable area. I didn’t bring a car and was able to get anywhere I wanted by foot. I didn’t have any interaction with the staff- only by text- for check-in and checkout, which was perfect. This trip was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Beautiful ocean view from my second floor room, prompt responses from staff through texts (limited office/onsite hours), dog friendly, a path straight to the beach, and close to restaurants and entertainment. It’s an older facility, but served its purpose since I was there to enjoy the beach and not stay in the room. Room was fairly clean, small.

We enjoyed the pool and easy walk to the pool. The air conditioner made loud noises all weekend and was hard to sleep. It was so humid in the room that our skin was sticky the whole time. The floor was weak in the kitchen area. The girls thought it would be funny if i fell through it. It was room 109. The maintenance tried to adjust the air conditioner but it didn't help.
