Great location—steps from the beach, beautiful river views, and walkable to restaurants and shops. We appreciated the grill, boat slip, outdoor shower (though the showerhead needs replacing), and being allowed to set up a small inflatable pool in the yard.The unit was clean and stocked with towels and kitchen basics, but the lack of porch and living room shades made it hard to relax indoors during the day. The sun was intense, and blinds would make a big difference.The upstairs unit was consistently loud, and the guests weren’t friendly, which felt uncomfortable. As a Hispanic American family, we couldn’t help but feel unwelcome at times.Other issues: the back king bed was very firm, the queen room got hot, some exterior doors didn’t lock properly, no mop, tricky keypad, and the fridge’s ice/water dispenser didn’t work. Also, bedroom doors didn’t lock, which was unsettling with teens.Overall, it was an okay stay, but due to the heat, noise, and security concerns, we probably wouldn’t book again—even with the great location and great host.
