Welcome to Reil Estates – a charming, older rustic 3-bedroom, 1-bath home, with 2 sinks, a walk-in tile shower, and a jet tub, in a quiet small town in southern Alberta. This home is licensed for up to 6, currently holds 5 guests. It features one Queen bed, one Queen futon, and one King bed. We’re happy to provide a single mobile bed for a child upon request. This is more than just a vacation rental; it’s a lovingly maintained family home filled with warmth, comfort, and beautiful memories of our mom. Every corner is been thoughtfully decorated to honor her spirit, creating a peaceful and welcoming space where you can truly feel at home.
The house features three comfortable bedrooms (a back room with a King bed, a room with a Queen futon, and a second bedroom with a Queen bed - pictures forthcoming), perfect for families, friends, or couples looking for a relaxing getaway. The bright kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and pots, pans, and utensils needed to utilize the kitchen for home-cooked meals, not including pantry items or paper towels, however, tea towels and dish cloths are provided. The spacious living area invites you to unwind after a day of exploring.
Step outside into the large, shared yard – with the backyard serving as your own little oasis for morning coffee or an afternoon BBQ and soaking up the fresh Alberta air. The backyard is fenced and perfect for kids to play, or for relaxing with a book under the trees.
Pet Policy: This is a pet-free rental (no pets allowed inside the house). Our pets live in a separate basement apartment with its own entrance and are under supervision outside during guest stays. Service animals require documentation.

This place is a joke. The description is totally embellished. This is an old, rather rundown house that someone has done a very poor job of renovating. The tub had some red stained crud in it. The bathroom fan didn't work. The entire place smelled like bleach strong enough to burn your eyes when we walked in. There is lots of unfinished stuff in the house. The front yard is a mess and the back yard is only a little better. We didn't get a welcome email or anything on the VRBO app. A guy came out in a bathrobe after we waited around for 30 minutes (VRBO app wasn't working) and said the door was open. Then there is nothing in the house to help (folder of information) so we tried for the better part of an hour trying to connect to the WIFI. Called VRBO customer service and they weren't helpful. This house is worth half of what we paid and VRBO should pay us back some also for their app/site being down. Here we had such a great experience in Calgary with our host and then we come to this place and it is way overpriced and a total disappointment. No paper towels in the kitchen, a hodge podge of linens and drapes, kitchen wasn't stocked with essentials at all (no pepper, no oil, etc...). Just extremely disappointing. I would tell VRBO to drop this property from their site.
