From this vacation cottage with covered terrace, fenced garden and small storage pool near Lucca, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the surrounding countryside and an ancient abbey perched high on a hill. We are located in Castelvecchio di Compito, in a very quiet rural area between Lucca and Pisa, along the ancient Via Francigena. The area is famous for its famous exhibition of ancient camellias of Lucchesia, which takes place every year between March and April. The house is located 16 km from Lucca, 30 km from Pisa and 66 km from Florence. The area offers many outdoor recreational and sporting opportunities: sport fishing in a small lake (2 km), tennis court, horseback riding (10 km), public swimming pools, thermal springs in San Giuliano Terme (24 km), golf course in Montecatini Terme (31 km). For sea lovers we recommend the sandy beaches of Calambrone (39 km) and the pebble beaches of Marina di Pisa at 43 km. On request domestic help for extra cleaning (extra service, payment on spot). Mosquito nets on all windows. The accommodation is on three floors and is next to the owners' house. The main entrance overlooks the private courtyard of the owners.
