"On the morning of Friday, May 21st, we woke up to find the blood stain on the outside bottom side of the white comforter (see attachments). I also heard my daughter coughing a lot and my son said that he thought it was coming from the AC filter. He notices dust coming out of it when he went to turn the AC on when we first arrived. Right away, I went to the AC and pulled the filters out and they were disgusting. I went down stairs to the front desk to let them know. There was a tall man with dark hair standing behind the counter. When i told him, he showed no real concern whatsoever. He did say that he would have house keeping come up with clean sheets. I asked him if that was it, and again he looked as though he didn't know what the problem was. I said "Not even an apology or sorry". He said "sorry?". This was the director of sales.
On our way out on Saturday, the general manager, was standing behind the counter, and I told him we were ready to check out. I told him about the situation, and he seemed to know a little bit but didn't seem too concerned. I told him what happened and again no concern until I showed him the pictures. I asked him how he would react if it were his family that checked into a hotel to find this?. He said that I need to understand that he works 16 hours a day and that they are short of help because of the pandemic. They refunded me $23. This whole situation was disgusting, thoughtless, negligent, and very unprofessional.
