Bathroom, tub and sink areas were filthy. There was hair and dirt on the bathroom floor and tub, weeks of scum on the faucets and trash left on the counter from the previous guest. Needless to say, I didn't enter that bathroom without shoes on and I skipped a much-needed shower. I have no intention of returning to this location.

The room obviously hadn't been cleaned well. It needed vacuumed and most of the surfaces needed wiped down. The paint was peeling above the shower in more than 1 spot, including a 6 inch wide circle of missing paint. The water was barely warm. If it hadnt been late and we hadn't been so tired we would have demanded our money back and gone elsewhere for the night. The parking lot was also very dark.

Overall workings and appearance of this hotel was deplorable. Especially the cleanliness or lack of. Bathroom was moldy, smelled like urine and the outside was trashy. Signs run over and parts of carport falling to the ground, carpets dirty, lighting very poor. Would not stay here ever again until things have been corrected.

Love Wingate

It's a pleasure to stay somewhere that isn't noisy and you can sleep good at night. This will always be my go to place when I come to Canton, Ohio.

This hotel was the one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. It was dirty in the room. The bathroom was horrible. The sheets were not clean completely. It’s so outdated! Like OUTDATED. The breakfast was cold. I mean they just took the sausage and put it in the warmer without warming it up. The eggs were trash and the fork for the waffle had mold on it! Like as soon as I saw that I left! I wish I could get a refund cause trust and believe I will NEVER BE BACK. For 135.00 a night, I expected more!

Won't be staying again!

The hotel was very run down, dark and smelled awful. Our room had broken outlets and light switches, the light in the bathroom got so hot we couldn't use it. The carpet in our room was very sticky in spots. Also when you got off the elevator on the second floor there was a hole in the floor under the carpet so I almost fell.
