comfortable large house near beach
My family of 7 adults stayed at Quail Cove for 5 days in May, which I booked through Beachcomber Vacations. The house is a short walk to the beach and about a 15 min walk to the village center. We found the furniture and beds very comfortable, lots of linens and towels were provided. Kitchen was large but lacked baking dishes (we ate in several times) and had a few too many gadgets talking up space in the cabinets with not enough room for the groceries we brought, but we made it work. Cooktop had a slight glitch; when one burner was on the adjacent one clicked constantly, but we worked around it. The welcome binder could be a little more helpful by including operating instructions for appliances, and there was no broom, mop or vacuum in the house, although a broom and dust bin was brought to us right away when I notified Beachcomber. The wifi code we were emailed was incorrect but again, Beachcomber helped us out immediately. It would be helpful to have the code for the back door because the one for the front door did not work on the back door. These are relatively minor issues, overall we had a very nice stay and the house worked really well for my family.
