Just enough off the beaten paths of busy downtown Cannon Beach to make the stay quite enjoyable. A five minute walk to the north dunes of Cannon Beach or the same to the northern end of Cannon Beach (a small creek/river separates the two) makes this venue a great lodging choice. It is also quite close to the city park and its play structure for the kids and tennis and other activities for the entire family. And, Ecola State Park, the viewpoint and then the Indian Creek beach nearby are hidden secrets of north Cannon Beach. A fifteen minute drive from the Ecola Lodge is worth the effort.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, though very small but okay for a short stay. There was no kitchen but only a microwave oven in the small space for luggage. It is a bit too far from places for drinking and eating. The staff is very friendly. I recommend the place for young people who enjoy long walks and love to eat out.
