It was a nice place to stay at. The only complaint would be that they only had one elevator working while we were there. They are doing renovations. The restaurant inside is fabulous great food. The pool area was nice for kids. Underground parking was great. If you have a ground floor unit the outside patio is a mess and tons of ants so you really could not sit outside. The rooms were clean. Would stay again. Canmore is Beautiful ♥️

Unfortunately the room allocated was next to a water pump creating a ridiculous amount of noise 24:7 but on speaking to a very nice helpful young man on reception we were moved to a suite at the back of the building which was very quiet indeed. Sorry don’t have his name but he was excellent in helping us

We were in the Annex building. It was old and dingy and poorly maintained. The elevator didn’t work, so we had to lift 2 large suitcases up to the third floor. The bed was clean but the room didn’t appear to have been vacuumed. Overall poor quality for the price tag.

AC didn’t work, 1/4 elevators worked, very dated hotel, very dated pool and hot tub, not enough towels or amenities, no cleaning services yet they insisted on charging us a resort fee of $21/night, they had NO service whatsoever. Definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone for the price they’re charging.

Our guest room is in Annex building, which was flooded a few days before we came. The service crew were pumping the water from the flooded basement all day long, making loud noise. No elevator available for that reason too. The parking lot is rather small. Each car parking space is very small too. You will have a hard time to park a large vehicle. No everyday service, but you can ask for fresh towel

The hotel itself is fine (stayed in the Annex building) but it’s the policies + staff combo that made our stay less than ideal. Strict adherence to 4pm check-in is extremely annoying (we arrived at 3:30pm rushing to a 4pm wedding - don’t tell me the room “isn’t ready,” Logistically, at that hour, I’m not going to believe that). The morning receptionist was kind of rude about helping me call a taxi. Small niceties count in a town with so many properties to choose from.

Room not as clean as we’d like. Arrived to be told we’d be in the annexe building which is clearly a different property than the actual lodge we’d seen images of. The annexe building had a flood in the parking lot, the doors were open and accessible to anyone to get in, hallways had wallpaper peeling at all corners.. oh and the elevator wasn’t working so we had to bring all our luggage up 3 floors. Not exactly what you expect for paying 700$ for two nights, kinda ridiculous really. Dust in our room, looked like it still needed to be swept. Bed was comfy.. service was okay. I wouldn’t go back.

Our stay started out in the wrong foot when the property attempted to charge my cc at 10am the morning of check in. Thankfully my cc company declined the charges. I figured since they were trying to charge us, we could check in a bit early at 3:15pm but no, I was wrong. When checking in we were informed that the elevator was not working and there was some serious flooding going on in the basement. Definitely a construction zone. Apparently we booked into a part of the hotel where we were not allowed to access the hot tub or pool, despite being charged a resort fee over and above the total taxes and fees reported on the website. No housekeeping services during the stay. Large room but tiny shower. Save yourself some $ and stay at the Days Inn.

Horrible experience and not worth the price! From the moment we arrived the elevator was full of bags of smelly garbage that had leaked all over the floor of the elevator. While we were waiting to get on the elevator they threw the bags out of the elevator amd one even hit my friends leg. We asked the front desk where a dolly was for our luggage and they said "I don't know you'll have to check the hallways.So we proceeded to go to every floor before we finally found one. The ants were so bad on the ground floor patio that we couldn't even enjoy it and they were even on the furniture inside. Not to mention there was construction inside and out. Will never stay here again. Very disappointed for the price.

Lobby was maintained poorly. Leaky ceiling with a bucket on the floor that remained for our entire stay. Unhelpful front desk person. Swampy lawn ground with a noisy pump constantly running to clear the water log. Under staffed. Elevator wasn't working. No staff would help with carrying our two suitcases especially after letting the receptionist about our bad backs. Room had foul smell. Was refused a room change. After pleading got a room change after 6 hours. Requested fresh towels. Got it after 2 1/2 hours. Requested coffee pods , took 4 hours to get that. 330 US dollars per night for this. Shocking rally. Exodus needs to ban such properties from their site.

Room and halls were dirty. Had to contact front lobby to get towels, toilet paper, etc. Mold in shower and tiles in shower cracked. Bathroom squishy..cold metal leg of the vanity touched your leg while using toilet. Looked like blood splatter on bathroom ceiling. Elevator not working. Outside our room was a super loud generator that was on 24 hours a day. Couldn’t sleep. Ear plugs provided in the room so staff aware of problem yet still place travellers in that room. Paid $500 a night to stay in a dirty, noisy room where we couldn’t sleep as it was so loud. Ended up leaving a night early as couldn’t stand it anymore. Complained to management and received a 15% discount. Hardly covered the taxes we paid. Others from our travel group had numerous complaints and disappointments in their rooms as well from limited supplies to key cards not working, etc. Would definitely NOT recommend. Numerous other options available in the surrounding area that provide better service.

The building was gross, dark hallway, old dark carpet, dingy, no luggage cart, shower configuration was off, bathroom was very dated and loud generator pumping water due to flooding all day and night. However, the bedding wasn’t bad. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been beyond frustrating. The hotel charged my credit cards multiple times in error, leaving approximately $2,000 tied up in unauthorized charges. Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was the complete lack of concern from the front desk. Rather than taking the issue seriously or showing any urgency to resolve it, the staff member I dealt with seemed unconcerned and unhelpful. Being told to simply “send an email” when thousands of dollars are involved is not an acceptable level of customer service. Having that amount of money unavailable because of a hotel’s billing error is incredibly stressful, and I expected much better communication, accountability, and empathy. I’m still waiting for this to be properly resolved. Until the hotel improves both its billing practices and the way it handles serious customer concerns, I would not recommend staying here.

I booked what I believed was a room at Grande Rockies Resort based on the listing, but the accommodation I was assigned was in a separate building across the road. The listing did not clearly distinguish between the resort and the separate building, which created different expectations than what was provided. During my stay, the elevator in the building was not operational, and there was construction debris in the common areas inside the building. The room had hard-surface flooring rather than carpet, the bed was not particularly comfortable, and the air conditioning unit was very loud. The combination of the bed and the AC noise made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I was also surprised to learn that guests staying in this building were not permitted to use the resort amenities, including the pool and spa, despite the booking being presented under the Grande Rockies Resort name. Greater transparency about which building is being booked, what amenities are included, and the current condition of the property would help guests make an informed decision and avoid misunderstandings.

My room was located on the first floor in the corner with 2 giant generators running all night. There was no view and the air conditioning wasn’t working. When we called the front desk no one picked up. When I walked over to inquire they said so sorry nothing we can do. The location in the town was fantastic. It appeared that the main building (where we were not) looked clean and well kept.

We really enjoyed our stay, but have a few suggestions. The AC wasn't working properly so it was fine during the day but got hot at night, a fan would really help. Also the living room sofa, the cushions need ti be a little better, we felt like we were sinking in.
