While the views were still amazing, I did NOT get the room I booked. I booked the almost 1200sq ft suite and up with a much smaller room. Disappointed in that considering I paid significantly more for the room I booked vs what we received.

We have never been treated with such dismissal by a hotel. From the start, our stay was plagued with issues including cockroaches, poor service, and broken promises tied to Expedia VIP benefits. We were told we had early check-in and special access, neither of which were honored. Despite arriving at 7am, our room wasn’t ready until after 3:30pm, and someone was still cleaning. Karina at the front desk was extremely dismissive and provided poor customer service. At check-in, our phone number was entered incorrectly despite correcting it, resulting in our assigned butler being unable to contact us until the end of day two—another promised service that failed. We also clearly disclosed a severe peanut allergy, yet peanut candy was placed in our room. On day two, our AC stopped working. Housekeeping acknowledged the heat and said it would be addressed, but nothing was done. When we returned at 11pm, the room was nearly 80 degrees. The front desk offered no solution and essentially told us to deal with it. After two hours of arguing, we were finally moved rooms at 1am. The following day, we attempted to speak with management. We were repeatedly told all supervisors were in meetings Eventually, we spoke with a supervisor named Josue, who promised to escalate our concerns to client experience Linda but we never heard back. Calls were ignored until we checked out. I strongly urge others not to book this resort and hope Expedia reconsiders listing it.

We booked the royal select option (via Expedia) and somehow ended up with VIP and butler service which has been a surprise and a delight. The food is great, there is an adult-only pool, and there are many quiet spots to catch the sun and enjoy the view. Our butler (what a thing to say!) Alejandro was absolutely wonderful, and our breakfast waitress Alicia was kind and remembered our diary-free order for eggs! The staff are super friendly, our room was gorgeous and the gym was well equipped. The first resort I've been to that I'd actually come back to. You also have to do the chichen itza day trip. Thank you so much!

We loved having the butler services that would schedule our reservations for dinner book sun beds for the beach and for the pool and also provide us with Anie answers of questions we had about events throughout the day. It’s advertised as “Adults Only” BUT IT IS CERTAINLY NOT ADULTS ONLY !! There is an adult section , and only 1 hot jacuzzi and there was tons of children in there. The food was not good, not nearly as much Mexican food as I’d like to see. The night time buffet was disappointing and ended up you t back for room service . The resort itself was nice and staff was great .

Stayed in an ocean front villa and the experience was 4/5. The room was nice but living room a/c didnt work and it wasnt fully resolved throughout the stay. They offered another room but we declined. The shower drain needed unclogging on day 1, and it left an unpleasant scent in the room for the rest of the stay. The butler (Alex) was very nice and the staff was mostly friendly. The food options sufficed for the week stay and the room service breakfast was good. The plunge pool was great to rinse off in, and the room is more spacious than the pics imply. We would return despite the inconveniences. The villa is outside of a clean beach with marked swim points close by. The beach is very shallow and the villa blocks out a lot of noise well
