Our second stay at Nilu by Selina in Isla Mujeres was just as amazing as the first. If you’re looking for an off the cut boutique style “Mexico vibe” hotel, this is the place to stay. It’s near enough and far enough away from the best restaurants and bars on the island. There is a large pool and bar out back with great drinks and super chill staff. You can feel the breeze and take it easy at the pool bar immediately after a long travel day. The rooms and bathrooms were so clean and the room care service was perfect every day. We had confusion with our room initially when checking in but the front desk staff was so kind and helpful they fixed the issue the very next morning with no worries. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Loved our stay they kindly upgraded me and we had a lovely big room ! Beach is beautiful did a fab yoga class and the classes are fun. Great location. Only thing I didn’t like is not being able to use sunbeds on beach area next to pool unless you spend money on drinks ! Should be free!!

Unfortunately, the room itself left much to be desired. The water pressure was exceptionally low, and there was no hot water available in the shower during my visit. Additionally, the beach directly in front of the resort is unfortunately unusable. Due to broken glass bottles and debris left on the sand, it is unsafe to walk on, and swimming is not possible. The presence of an abandoned building adjacent to the beach also detracts from the overall atmosphere. While the service was excellent, the lack of basic room amenities and the condition of the immediate beach area were disappointing.
