The hotel was great; however, there were some issues (below). First, I have to say that the hotel itself, and especially the staff, were excellent! Super friendly, eager to please, clean hotel, great breakfast, little convenience, store inside that wasn’t expensive, great room, etc.! I would stay there again for sure.
The only negative issues was the promised free transportation from the airport was a big problem. This is not the Hotel‘s fault from what I understand. You book the shuttle 48 hours in advance, but our flight was delayed and there was zero way to contact the transport company to tell them that. When I tried to call the hotel about this delay, I literally called 15 or more times and could not get anyone to answer. Once I did, they could not give me an answer as to what to do about the shuttle, so what happened was we did not have a free shuttle when we finally arrived and had to spend a lot of money on a taxi. Also, because of that, we ran out of cash and the ATM at the hotel did not work.
Overall, I don’t want those experiences to reflect on the Hotel negatively. Again, I would stay there again, but I would be way more prepared the next time for those two negative instances.
Extra shout out to Ulises, the bartender at the rooftop bar, and to the lady who ran the front desk at night. I forgot to get her name, but she was amazing anytime we had a question.
