Really enjoyed our family stay at this small lakeside hotel. Our room was lovely rustic chic, clean and had very good aircon. The breakfast each morning was superb- a mix of buffet items and ordering a la carte. So far the best cocktails I’ve tasted on this 2 week trip. Very nice place it was very relaxing and peaceful! Only knock I have is a little hike from town if walking about 30 plus minutes. I also found the beds a little too firm for my liking but that is just a personal preference.

Good scenic location and very comfy bed. Staff were not very friendly, especially the older porter who was decidedly grumpy! We thought we had paid in advance only to be told we owed the amount on arrival. We were told it was a 20 minute walk into town but it was over half an hour. The place needed a lot of tlc including tatty chairs on our balcony and broken tiles on the floor. Our shower sprayed water everywhere, flooding the bathroom. No hairdryer or fridge.

Best ever!!

Casa Bakal was exceptional. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and provided guidance for different activities. The cleaning team did an excellent job in cleaning our bungalow. The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. A very important factor was that it was pet friendly and our little guy was very happy there as well. From arrival to departure the staff made sure we had an excellent experience and we absolutely did. Casa Bakal is definitely a return destination, often.

The grounds are well kept and it is very clean. We paid a premium rate because the kitchen but it was not well equipped. It did not have the minimum that you could expect. No coffee maker, or toaster, only 2 pots, 3 plates, 3 glasses, not enough cutlery, and they don't provided any kitchen towels and only 1 knife. We ended up not using it.

We had a great time at CasaBakal, it's the perfect location right on the lagoon with a lovely pier to sit on and watch the sunset. Our intial room was very small, the photos do hide this a bit with just one bed and not much space around it! Luckily they were able to move us to a bigger room which was perfect. The staff were lovely and kind.
