Close to freeway and walking distance to nearby dining. I did arrive early before 3pm check in and was told to return or pay extra for early check in. Room was decent for a one night stay, don't expect much. I had to call hotel staff to come and clean floor of dog hair.

The property was easy to find, and close to Ames. A bit plain from the outside , but the rooms had been recently updated . The room was modern , clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate and fresh food constantly brought out. A good value for the $. It was a good start to our vacation.

One of the things critical in a hotel now a days is Wi-Fi... Unless you stay at this Best Western then you better be prepared to hotspot your device. This is unacceptable to the business traveler, the front desk told me. Yeah the signal doesn't reach all the rooms... I had stayed here in the past and was told that they were getting it fixed. They have not... Also a hotel is kind of run down and slowly being rebuilt

It was one of the best facility for the price. The owner has definitely paid attention on how to design the room and take care of indoors and out doors cleanliness. Staff were hands down the best. I might visit the place again just so that I could stay there again.
