Top notch hotel for the money. Incredible staff .. easy and safe parking - safe area - in a suburb … easy walking to dining. Clean premises - great pool with slide and hot tub. Gym as well. Highly recommend

We stayed at the Wingate as a convenient location after a New Year’s party. It is a lovely facility and scrupulously clean. Nice, spacious room, and the bed was very firm, yet comfortable. We didn’t partake of the breakfast, but could smell the bacon as we were coming down the elevator, so any place with bacon is a win! The only complaint was the large, extremely bright light that came in the window at the top and bottom of the curtains. It meant the room wasn’t overly dark for sleeping. The room we were in overlooked the Calgary Police station compound, so it might’ve been lights from that facility. Overall, would highly recommend if you’re looking for a well-priced, comfortable stay, and don’t necessarily need to be located downtown.
