After booking we were informed that the exterior of the hotel was undergoing renos and that the pool was also closed. We were not prepared for exactly to what extent the exterior of the hotel was undergoing renovations. This property is a worksite, and I am sure that the construction workers must be having a terrible time trying to work, keep themselves safe, the hotel staff safe,and the patrons safe taboot. We were told the renovations have been going on for a long time now. I think this hotel should close to allow the renovations to be completed in a timely manner that is safe for all on the worksite. On a positive note the employees were very personable and very accomodating and the inside of the hotel was clean. I wish the hotel and its employees well. To the employees Thank you for everything. To the hotel owners...I understand that once the outside renovation is complete you will start on the inside. Good luck.

Property is awesome. it's just that it is under renovation. but other than that, I think it is value at its price. However, we were charge extra $30 for my infant, which I also declared in booking though the attendant said that it is not technically possible for a 5person to be in one room. I just dont get it because I declared that I have an infant. but then, it's okay. I just dont like the feeling of unexpected extra charges. aside from it, everything is perfect.

I booked a non-refundable room via expediate for two weeks so that I could have a place available as needed while I moved into a new house. After one week, my house was in a livable condition so I moved my stuff from the hotel into my house and spent a few nights in my new house, but I planned to use the hotel room to relax after a long day of unpacking as my house did not have a functioning TV. After a few days in my new house, I went back to the hotel room (which I had already paid for in advance) and was shocked to discover that there was another person's stuff in my room. I complained to the front desk, and they said that because I hadn't used the room in over 48 hours and because the room was empty, they canceled my reservation and booked someone else in the room. When I commented that it was a significant safety issue that my room key was not deactivated, they blamed their new computer system and didn't seem to appreciate how dangerous it was that I had access to a room that another person was now staying in. When I complained that they had taken my money but not provided me with the service I paid for, they said that due to Expedia's practices, they were unable to refund my money, even though they got paid for the room twice. As a single female who travels alone often, I consider this disregard for the personal safety of their guests completely unacceptable, and I consider charging two different people for the same room a very dishonest business practice.
