The room was in fairly good condition once I was moved from one that was less desirable. The matresses on the beds are very soft. I was staying in the hotel while having spinal injections. Soft beds are bad for backs; they offer no support. The cleaning of the rooms was fine in general but the remote control for the TV was filthy, I cleaned it before touching it.

I don't know if the room was in the process of being renovated. If what I stayed in is the finished product, the photographer of the rooms works magic. Dresser missing drawer (another drawer beoken), portable heater on the floor for warmth, zero charging ports (bring a chatger plug), bathroom fan sounded like a rusty tank and if you're expecting a balcony, like I was, they are all locked up. .Luckly, I had business most of the day and only needed a bed, which I will say, was comfortable.

Previous review highlights: Guest rooms are newly remodeled, very clean, comfotable, and quiet. Free breakfast is "amply adequate" with enough options to satisfy; no eggs or meat options, but the pancake maker is neat. Parking spaces are spacious and safe. The ones around the building are better than the ones out front by the street. Not many are conveniently proximic to the entry, though. The area around the perimeter of the building is not impressive. The owners really need to clean up trash and broken glass, at least, and keep there dumpster tidy. It is hoped that eventually the whole property will be renovated, because the guest rooms are very well done. Don't let the outer appearance steer you away. You'll get a nice room at a decent price.

I stay here every time I come to Stampeder games. Good location to stadium. Warning, this is a hotel that you go for a place to sleep! This isn't a hotel you stay at if you think it's going to be part of your vacation. Nothing fancy, and it's old, but it does what I want.

Liked the location. Did not like the snooty person at check-in, the carpets were stained and smelled bad, there was no decaf coffee available, the Wifi did not work for us and when we went to question why, same snooty person told us it works and nobody else had complained. Will never stay there again!

The remodeling they have done in the rooms is very nice. We hope they continue this process with the vestibule/entryway and hallways. The parking area around the building is very sketchy looking and trashy. The parking spaces are okay, but not convenient to the entryway. If they would take some time and just clean up the trash and broken glass around the perimeter it would help. The price we paid on Expedia was a good deal, and the room itself was fresh and excellent with a good working air conditioner. The rest of the property could use some TLC.

Can’t use balcony as the doors are closed off on the outside.. housekeepers should spend more time cleaning rooms as there was hair laying around still and the baseboards were dirty and looked like they haven’t been cleaned in awhile. One of the washing machines was broken and a dryer didn’t properly work. Otherwise staff was nice and it was a decent place to rest for the week.
