Rooms were okay. Bed was decent but bathroom was small. My biggest complaint is that there is zero noise proofing with the doors between adjacent rooms. We were in a room that could connect to another, the door and lock looked sketchy but the worst part was that it didn’t prevent any noise. The people in the next room were up literally the entire night talking and we could hear everything.

Perfect pitstop during a long drive from BC to SK. Staff and service were great. Great value for the price. Clean and safe. Shower had the best water pressure I have ever experienced in a hotel. Walls are very thin so you will hear your neighbour. I was beside a busy young family that awoke loudly at 630 am on a Sunday. :( And if you have neck or back issues bring your own pillow. The pillows had zero suport. But the bed was comfy otherwise.

Let me preface this by saying: this is a 1-star hotel. I did not expect the Four Seasons. I did, however, expect cleanliness, honest communication, and products from this century. Alas. The highlights (and I use that term loosely): • Housekeeping: Apparently optional. No service during my stay, which might be fine if the room hadn’t already looked like it survived several previous guests unassisted. • Cleanliness: “Dirty” feels generous. Let’s call it historically untouched. • Bathroom products: Expired. And not recently. I’m fairly certain the shampoo dates back to circa 1989. Possibly a collector’s item. • Staff: Deeply engaged — just not with guests. Multiple staff members were on their phones, on speaker, chatting with boyfriends or husbands, and seemed genuinely annoyed when interrupted by something as trivial as a question. • Boil water advisory: There’s a warning sign posted in the elevator… but when asked, staff casually said the water was fine to drink. Which is… comforting? Or alarming? Hard to say. • Breakfast: Looked like it had been cooked sometime last week, then bravely soldiered on. • The TV worked. Credit where credit is due. Flawless performance. No notes. Final thoughts: Yes, this is a 1-star hotel. Expectations were low. But basic hygiene, honesty, and mild human engagement should not be considered luxury amenities. If you’re looking for a place to sleep with a functioning television and a strong sense of irony — congratulations, you’ve found it

Room was prepaid in full with my friends credit card on line as I do not choose to have a credit card.( my name was clearly stated as different than card holder)On arrival I was told I could not check in as I did not have a credit card for incidentals. I offered to use a debit card and or cash and was turned away. Was unable to reach my friend as was New Year’s Eve. Terrible
