The resort wasn’t what I expected. It’s older and needs a facelift. The room was large but outdated, and the AC was broken. I’m quite particular about cleanliness, so finding hair around the room was a turn-off, and the food was below par. However, the staff was amazing and the service was excellent. I’ve stayed at higher-end resorts in Cabo, so my standards for the week were higher.

The service was excellent, the property was very clean, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed the food, which was consistently good. The only downside was the number of upcharges, which we weren’t expecting. Overall, a great stay if you’re aware of the any extra fees.

The location and resort are beautiful. The room was quite nice. Staff does a great job and the food overall is good. The pool is heated and the hot tub a real hot tub warmed to 104. Plenty of lounge chairs. We had problems with the air conditioning and had to have technicians come up twice to fix it but they got there quickly. Room service was sketchy. We had problems getting a pot of coffee a few mornings. Things to be aware of. This is really not an all inclusive. The steak house and Italian restaurant both have mandatory up charges. All the restaurants have potential for upcharges for food and drinks. So order carefully. The inclusive menu is very good. So is the morning buffet. Huge push on the vacation club. As soon as you check in they push you that way. It's a 3 + hour hard sales push with no documentation. So be aware. There are 2 sister resorts and the golf clubhouse and they are not walkable so expect to ride the shuttles quite a bit if you to see the other resorts and go to the food market which is a cool place. No entertainment. No bands, performers or shows. The sports bar is very impressive. Lot of TVs and such. Pacific has some nice gas firepits by the beach and some service. But it is very quiet.

Staff were amazing. Martin at the pool & Eduardo who was our bellman were amazing. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Room was clean and bar fridge was always stocked as we requested. Our shower head needed replacing though and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up for hubby which was awkward. lol

Room was spotless, Most staff was helpful and pleasant. Golf course was very much enjoyed, restaurant food at golf course was amazing. La Freda restaurant was terrible. Food not enjoyable, waiter spilled drink on my husband. Two of us was delivered cold food (shrimp and beef Wellington). We ordered a Don Julio tequila which had an upcharge but it was not Don Julio. After words with the waiter he brought out the correct tequila. When we told waiter he told us we should have said something at the beginning. Had to ask for water twice. Manager did absolutely nothing! Disappointing no nightly music. Everything closes by 10 pm. We had 6 people in our group, three rooms. We were in the tower and our two butlers Leo and Beto were so amazing !!

We always love this resort. We have been several times and are already planning our next trip back. But this year, our butler Hannia made the visit even better. I had accidentally booked the wrong type of room, she fixed that. My husband forgot a piece to his CPAP, she fixed that. We caught a lot of tuna and they wouldn’t deliver it to us, she fixed that. She truly went above and beyond and we not only miss the resort already, we miss Hannia!

Rooms were average. Food was good. Beach is pretty- cabanas are $40 per day. Made a dinner reservation and wasn’t feeling well, called to cancel but they still charged me $30 😭. The shuttle back to the airport left us when we were 1 minute late- so make sure to be there on time. Pickleball looked fun, but we didn’t play. Golf was all booked according to the app- so book early if you want to play.
