The Environment: Bahía Salinas is a protected nature reserve. This means you’ll see beautiful wildlife (birds, iguanas) and untouched scenery. It also means you may occasionally catch the sulfur "scent of nature" from the salt flats, depending on the wind—a small trade-off for the peace found here.

The Beach: The water directly in front is beautiful for viewing and photos, but due to the mangroves, the bottom is soft/muddy and not suitable for swimming. World-class swimming beaches like Playa Sucia are just minutes away.

Utilities: While rare, power or water interruptions can occur in this part of Puerto Rico. We are not responsible for outages, but will do our best to help you stay comfortable.

We had a very nice vacation. Unfortunately the pool was very dirty and no filter running. We chose the property because of the pool. There we’re not enough items to clean up after prepping a meal. We used whatever we could find. Just easier to purchase paper plates

Communication with the host was top notch. For me, the location of this apartment was the highlight. We walked to Playa Sucia and the lighthouse, and had the beach almost to ourselves! The pool was a nice perk! Everything was clean, safe and I would 100% recommend!

The view was amazing and having water on both sides of property was awesome. Very quiet and tranquil. The only downside was there is no beach to walk unless you walk up to the lighthouse and the area was not swimmable. However the pool area was outstanding. The host was the nicest I've ever spoken to.
