Ground Floor:
Access to the property is via a private parking courtyard shared with the neighbours, you can park right in front of the house with space for 2+ cars free of charge. A few steps lead you to the front door entering via the hallway with stairs leading upstairs and the living room on your right.
Lounge
We love this lounge, it has the perfect country cottage feel. With two comfortable sofas facing a large smart TV this is a great space to relax in after a long adventurous day in the Peaks! My favourite feature is the log burner, which once on can really heat up the house and is perfect on a cold Winter night. In the summer it’s very pretty to look at but you might not want it fully on!
The TV comes with Netflix and Disney+, this is a great spot for the family to come together and unwind. The living room has lots of rustic features with local artist’s paintings of the local country sights.
Kitchen with Dining
Continuing our country style theme there is a beautiful dark green kitchen with classic shaker style cupboards. This kitchen is brand new and is fully fitted to ensure you can have the option to cook amazing family meals.
The kitchen has an integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, oven, gas hob as well as fully stocked cupboards with utensils, pots and pans, anything you would need to cook a large Sunday Roast. The kitchen wraps around a large wooden table which comfortably seats six, a great place for everyone to come together. This space is a nod to the style of the past whilst having all the modern and convenient features. The kitchen overlooks the private back garden with a small cloakroom before the backdoor.
First Floor
Second Bedroom
On the first floor at the front of the cottage, you will find a double bedroom. This room is a very cosy place to rest after long activity filled days. There is plenty of room at the rear of the bed should you need to put up a travel cot or have a dog bed. There’s also a full wardrobe, so there’s plenty of room to unpack and feel right at home.
Third Bedroom
At the rear of the cottage, there is a twin bedroom that is ideal for kids. The beds are full singles so it would be more than comfortable for adults to sleep in.
Family Bathroom
A spacious family bathroom is also located at the rear of the cottage, which comprises a toilet, wash hand basin and a bath with shower overhead.
Second Floor:
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is tucked away on the top floor. This room feels so private and quiet that you’re guaranteed a great night's sleep. Entering via your own private staircase this room is so cosy and full of character. With sloping ceilings everything has its place in this room. The double bed fits perfectly in a warm and cosy nook, and clever storage solutions have been crafted with a rail hiding under the beams. This ensures there’s plenty of clothes storage whilst keeping the room lovely and open.
The master bedroom also has a private ensuite, which has a shower perfectly fitted into the pitched ceiling.
Parking:
There is ample parking at Sage Cottage, with a private drive there is space for two vehicles.

Please note we have a decibel monitoring device within the house, this is not capable of recording audio but will notify us if it’s been turned off or if decibels exceed an acceptable neighbourhood level.
Pet Rules:
If you are bringing your dog, please ensure they are off the furniture. If they must go on sofas, ensure that a blanket/throw is put on the sofa to ensure muddy paws don’t mark the sofa. Please notify us if you’re bringing any pets.
