This is such a lovely hotel - we so enjoyed our stay The place is very relaxing to be in - staff super friendly and food excellent The house is 17th century but very comfortable and well equiped Plus very good value - even gave us complementary drinks plus packed lunches Will definitely go again

Lovely place - so not the corporate chain hotel. Had a really good evening meal. Breakfast was also excellent. Packed lunch was a bonus. Hotel is obviously geared for walkers and there seemed to be plenty of maps / info provided by the hotel. All the staff were super friendly. Can't wait to stay again.

A last minute booking and we felt very lucky and blessed to find this amazing hotel. From the minute we arrived we were given first class service! Lovely touches, like fresh milk and a welcome bottle of beer and prosecco in our room.
