We stayed at Kempinski hotel for 4 nights. On the day we arrived, it was let us down a little bit as a 5 star hotel, there were no one came to help us with the luggages from the taxi. We could do it ourselves but it’s not a good service at the first impression. I am a gold member of the Expedia and booked this hotel as a VIP access but when check in it’s nothing offered even Premium wifi as promised. After checked in, Expedia sent me a review email about VIP access and I did the truth and the hotel sent me a message they will sort it out but it’s nothing. We didn’t expect for the room upgrade at the first time as we thought it was unreal. We got the room 602 that was a good view of the Budapest eye and St Stephen Basilica. The room was quite small but clean enough. The bed was bad on my side. I think I was broken as it was reclining down. The bathroom was good but the drain in the shower was always flood. The air conditioning was not that good always hot in the room. Most of the housekeepers were ridiculous unfriendly and rude. We walked pass them every morning and say hello or good morning but they always ignored and no smile but the rest of the staff we met were all good especially the receptionist at the spa. She is the best one for the good service. Overall, we enjoyed outside more than the hotel room so it was not bothered us much.
