"I requested a non-smoking room via Expedia, and I was assigned to a smoking room. I didn't have time to change this as I was on a tight scheduled with events/dinners etc. The entire room reeked with a horrible cigarette smell! All my clothes and CPAP machine are now totally smelly. Top latch/lock on the motel door was not secure so there was only one turning lock which did not feel safe."

"We had a great time at the Cozy Little Red Cabin! The bed and decor was cozy, the hot tub was amazing and it was great to bring our pups! The host was accommodating for an early Valentine’s checkin which was appreciated. The area was a little more run down than expected for a lake but there were no issues at all. Another thing to note is the lights are kind of tricky and the breaker kept needing flipped when cooking. Nothing was a huge deal and I would truly recommend to book! "

"We appreciated how dog friendly the house was. The host was very responsive to all my questions. For Christmas Eve dinner, we had 8 people and the dining room table accommodated all of us easily. I wish we would have had access to some cleaning items like a vacuum, to help us keep the areas cleaner. We loved ALL the extra storage as I did bring a lot of my own cooking supplies. The individual sink by the coffee bar was great as well as individual Keurig cups available to get us thru the first day. The water pressure and hot water were perfect. We heard no complaints.I would only point out that if someone is going to stay in the basement, just know it's noisier than we expected due to HVAC and water (we believe). Our guest in the basement had some troubles sleeping. They turned on some white noise which helped a lot. All in all, though, we stayed for 8 nights and had a wonderful time."
