We welcome you to Over The Edge. Enjoy the peacefulness, seclusion and the best views on the mountain. First thing to catch your eye is the beautiful scenic view as you walk out on our deck. Enjoy your favorite drink and soak away the bustle of your busy life as you relax in the jacuzzi, watching the clouds roll in and out. It's not hard to figure out why we bought Over The Edge. You can be white water rafting in minutes! You're less than 2.5 miles from The Nantahala Outdoor Center, which offers white water rafting, kayaking and has other water activities for every skill level. Also included are several wonderful restaurants. Ten minutes down the road you’ll find some of the nations best mountain biking at Tsali recreation area. Close by is one of the most beautiful trails in the smoky mountains, an old section of the Appalachian Trail where kids can hunt salamanders and build rock dams in a pristine creek and the energetic can hike to the Wesser Bald fire tower for an astounding view.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker, and housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.
Enjoy the recreation opportunities such as a hot tub or make use of other amenities including barbecue grills.

A simple home, yet comfortable with beautiful mountain vistas and peacefulness. Be sure to pack basic cooking necessities like oil or cooking spray. Other than that and your groceries, the cabin was clean and comfortable. The road up is one lane with some sheer drop offs, but it’s a mountain, so of course! We loved it!

Awesome Cabin with an Amazing View

An ideal place to stay in every way. Great for anything involving the Nantahala R., Tsali, The Tuckasegee, AT, NOC, etc. Perfect size for couples or small groups/families. I'd definitely stay again anytime.
