Stunning hotel in beautiful Brugges. Can't recommend this hotel enough. Book it, you won't be sorry. I would love to have stayed in the hotel but the residence is across the road and still lovely. Best of both worlds

I normally stay in another hotel from the Duke's collection. Was very unpleasantly surprised how this hotel is a 5-star with a 2-star attitude. Cleaners banging repeatedly at the door at 11:20 to remind you the checkout time is 11:00, and the phone rang as I was exiting -- probably Reception, too. The A/C issue was pretty bad as the fan remote is locked at the strongest and loudest all the time and the personnel gave me a nebulous report that they couldn't unlock it either, but "everything in the hotel stops at 22:00 so it will be fine". It wasn't, of course. A rather sleepless night. When checking out they offered to wave my parking fee, and when I said I parked elsewhere, there was no other offer. Very, very disappointed.
