Don’t loose your key after midnight, the night porter did not open the door despite 10 mins of ringing. Had to get the bar next door to call. No biggie things happen. Reason for 1 star was the reaction of the gentleman on reception in the morning. Awful attitude and was suggesting I didn’t ring the bell! Reception was lovely but the rooms were rank !

Hotel Portinari was a great choice for three of us travelling together. We were within walking distance to public transportation and local attractions like Charles Bridge and the downtown area. We spent 3 nights here and would happily stay again when visiting Prague. Staff were attentive and helpful, and the breakfast offerings in the morning before the days adventures were a great way to start out.

Shower is in the bathtub without a way to hold shower head mounted to wall above while showering. Also there is no door on the shower room, only a curtain. Nice looking room just odd configuration.

It’s a nice hotel in a great location . The rooms are clean and quiet but the room configuration or layout was very awkward. It may be irritating for some. In our case, the toilet opened up directly next to the head of the bed!

Hotel was very central in a walking city. Locating Hotel and parking was extremely difficult without simple instructions or direction which would have made it very easy and simple. Hotel should include parking instructions in its offer. There is very convenient public parking under the square immediately in front of the hotel with elevators that emerge right at the hotel entrance. Without knowing this, it is extremely challenging to drive to/park as hotel is located in center of pedestrian restricted zones.
