What a pleasant experience, that I was not expecting from a budget hotel chain. I wanted a stop over and found the hotel to be excellent value, clean, comfortable and just what I needed for a very affordable price. The room was adequate for my needs, basic but still very well structured with coffee/tea amenities, small shower area and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good, with several options available, a good coffee choice. Can't complain for £70 mid week, well done Ibis and its pleasant employees.

A great stay. Some super helpful / nice staff and some just average. Had a fantastic room - spacious etc. Bit noisy for most of the day night-due to proximity of the station and some construction/building/scaffolding work right on the door step in all directions..which can't really be helped. Would def stay again however :)

The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed but lacked amenities. There was an electric kettle but only one teabag in my double room. The location is great if you want to be close to the train station but the bar/restaurant was nothing special. The staff was mediocre at best and did not seem too helpful or accommodating.
