"The owner, Michael, helped out when we had a puncture and sorted out a garage to do the repair. He also looked after the pool. He was available if we needed help and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly go back."

"The breakfast ladies were superb. Lovely friendly and very approachable. The room was big enough, comfy bed but the bathroom was a little tired. Could do with a lick of paint. "

"We filled the chateau with 26 people, aged from 2 to 80, and it never felt overcrowded. Lots of lovely old furniture, but new good quality bedlinen and towels. Very clean. We mostly cooked for ourselves, and the kitchen was well-equipped for such numbers. Outside, there's a new tennis court by the pool, both are great. (The free-standing pool in the main photo has been replaced by a much better one, and the badminton/volleyball court is no longer there). The outside dining furniture has also been upgraded from the white plastic in the photos and was very nice. It was perfect for Puy du Fou but also in a lovely area to explore - though we mostly stayed at home to enjoy the facilities. One thing to note - the pool and tennis are 'communal' which means you may be sharing them with another large party in the other half of the chateau. With a bit of polite communication that was not a problem, especially with so much fine weather."
