Stay in the heart of the first Cistercian abbey in Bas-Poitou and live a timeless experience.

Founded in the twelfth century, the Abbey of Trizay welcomes you to a historic monument with 900 years of history, completely restored to offer all modern comforts. In the heart of a 3-hectare natural estate, enjoy a peaceful environment, ideal for getting together with family or friends.

The cottage, completely renovated, can accommodate up to 10 people. It includes a beautiful bright living room with living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a scullery giving access to a private courtyard with garden furniture, deck chairs and barbecue.

Upstairs, three comfortable bedrooms, each equipped with its own bathroom and private toilet, guarantee comfort and privacy to all occupants.

During your stay, you will enjoy privileged access to the cloister, the old abbey church and the chapter house. On request, we will be delighted to introduce you to the history of the Abbey during a guided tour.

Out of season, rooms can also be rented individually with shared common areas, on request and subject to availability.

A la campagne dans un lieu d’exception

Une semaine de repos avec enfants et petits-enfants dans le cadre paisible et verdoyant d’une ancienne abbaye, avec tout le confort moderne. Un plus : la passionnante visite guidée qui nous a fait revivre l’histoire de l’abbaye.
