The townhome is built on Shanahan Ridge that defines the south end of Boulder. There is a view of the mountains to the west from the deck on the back side of the house. There is a patio on the east of the house shaded by evergreens. A good place for breakfast in the morning sun or having dinner in the shade. The house was completely refinished at the is beginning of the year. There is a path along the ridge looking down and across the South Boulder. There is park space across the street to the east. The park includes a track sports fields a lake with a walking track around it and a recreation center with a pool, gym, and outdoor tennis courts. It is about 2 miles north to downtown Boulder.
