It was a great cozy perfect spot, I only had a problem with a black wasp infestation?!?!? They were everywhere dead or alive imagine them watching you sleep. & it was the suite! I reported to front desk and they were kind about it just said they’ll put a maintenance request in.

The staff were great as well as the sauna. I was expecting a bit more cooking capacity and the pillows were not comfortable at all. Some poor soul was sick at 2 am and we heard every regurgitation. Not the lodge’s fault but part of our experience. I’d stay again but lower my expectations and bring my own pillow.

Love this place. Lemme get the negs out of the way- no hooks in the bathroom. Curtains allow too much light from exterior decorations to shine on the bed. Did I sleep ok? Yes, but really- do something about this, it is annoying. As for everything else- First, you are staying in Boulder Canyon. It doesn't really get better than that, does it? I have one day in Boulder and this made it perfect. After I checked out, I drove up and down the canyon and got a walk in, too. Absolutely lovely. Coffee was really good, but filters for coffee maker are wrong, so made a mess. Bed was comfy. Place was quiet at night. I could have made better use of the fridge. I wished I had time for some draft pours. If I make it back to the area, I will definitely stay here again. maybe I'll learn fly fishing, too.

Sociable hostel in beautiful location!

A great one night stay in a friendly, clean hostel! All the staff were very helpful and relaxed and gave advice about local hikes and activities. I stayed in the shared hostel dorm, which was basic (as expected) but clean and quiet and the shower was lovely and hot. Sociable atmosphere - able to buy drinks from the bar and meet people around the campfire, who I then headed into Boulder with for the evening. Great access to the canyon trail into Boulder, which is beautiful to run/walk/cycle. Also easy to get to and from Boulder by Uber. There is a local bus but timings never worked with my plans.
