The room was too small. We felt we were in a shoebox. Had unpleasant night because the bed was to small. We though we were getting a king size bed but got a full bed. We were sleeping on top of each other. i called the front desk to switch room but was told that hotel was sold out. I was hoping the hotel would do something to accommodate us but they basically did nothing and blamed hotel.com. The location is excellent though and the bar in the lobby is a very good bar with good service. I just wish the room was bigger. Didn't even hve chair to sit in. the smenities in the room were very minimal.

We came to Boston for four days expecting a comfortable stay, but instead experienced one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. Out of the four days we stayed, there was NO hot water for TWO full days. Not “lukewarm.” Not “temporarily unavailable.” Completely cold water. In winter. This is not a minor inconvenience this is a basic service that any hotel must provide. It was physically impossible to shower properly. The air conditioning in the room did not work either. We couldn’t regulate the temperature at all. The room was either too cold or stuffy, with no control The bed sheets were torn. Not slightly worn actually torn. That alone says a lot about the level of maintenance and care. Overall, the hotel feels very old, neglected, and poorly maintained. It does not match the price or expectations in any way. I absolutely do not recommend staying here. This experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a great trip to Boston

Lobby was fine, elevators were dirty. The room was small and heating system noisy. The bathroom was big but had a sliding barn door that didnt work well. There was no pressure in the shower. The hotel affiliated restaurant was horrible Service.

Room and hotel was very clean, bed very comfortable. No coffee maker in room, but Coffee & tea available at all times in the lobby. Refrigerator in room has both freezer and fridge which was a plus and is not usual in a hotel room. Great location, near the Prudential and BSO. Gave a 4 star rating because hotel restaurant was really a cafe and bar.

the decor, funiture, carpets were all newly refreshed and very, very nice. The rooms have a fridge WITH a freezer, nice. The price was great. The kitchen with snacks and coffee macine was clean, of course, but very sterile and uninviting. We had an issue with parking...they charged 65.00 per night to leave the car on the street, instead of in the adjacent garage. Could have self parked for 24.00. But the management handled our parking complaint well and overall a very nice experience.
