You will be staying on Place Gambetta, recently redesigned as a vast pedestrianised and green space, in one of Bordeaux's most vibrant and sought-after neighbourhoods. Upscale boutiques, renowned restaurants and lively cafés are right on your doorstep. Rue Sainte-Catherine, Place de la Bourse, the Grand Théâtre, Saint-André Cathedral and the Tour Pey-Berland are all reachable within a few minutes' walk.
Access :
From Mérignac Airport : Tram A or bus 1 to Gambetta Mériadeck, then a short walk.
From Saint-Jean train station : Tram B to the Gambetta stop, then immediate walking access.
Parking : The apartment does not have its own parking. The Gambetta public car park is located just a few metres away (daily rate available). Free on-street parking from 7:00 PM to 9:00 AM, as well as on Sundays and public holidays.

Communication was smooth and effective. Arrangements were made for luggage drop off prior to 4 pm check in, and was very appreciated. Questions about apartment were answered immediately during stay.Apartment was clean and furnishings as listed in posting. The kitchen in photos appears larger, this space was small. Additionally, bathroom on first floor was also small. The second floor toilet was located in a separate closet than the bedroom, just by the staircase. The apartment backs up to a cross street, with a cafe, hotel and shops and can be noisy during the day, and early morning with deliveries. The apartment is ideally located to the B tram, a 5 minute walk, and a 10 minute walk to the water. There is a beautiful park located in front of the apartment.
