Room 309 faced the Main Street with a bus stop in front and tram a 3-minute walk. Round the corner began the large, wide pedestrian shopping walkway with tram lines. Room was wide enough to walk around bed, had desk/chair with exposed closet. Bathroom smaller than a horse stall yet modern and functional. Did not eat breakfast here. Location beats all.

Pour notre bonheur, notre chambre Ă©tant situĂ©e sur un coin, nos deux fenĂȘtres donnaient chacune, sur une artĂšre principale. L’accueil avec StĂ©phanie fut trĂšs chaleureux. L’hĂŽtel est parfaitement situĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© des centres d’intĂ©rĂȘts et du tramway. Bons restaurants prĂšs de l’hĂŽtel. Pour le bruit, on ferme les fenĂȘtres et tout devient calme. Nous recommandons cet hĂŽtel.

The rooms are comfortable (the bed was great) the rooms are extremely small. The shower so small that my husband (6’2”) had to open the shower door to properly wash. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The windows are far from sound proof, it’s a lively neighbourhood but I sleep quite soundly. For the price I would stay there again. I had requested an upgraded room, although I’m not sure that I got that. (If I did, I wonder how small a standard room would be)

QUIRKY BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN THE HEART OF BORDEAUX

The location of this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s at the top of the best shopping street in town and it goes all the way to the river. It’s inside an historic building that’s been refurbished resulting in some small and strangely shaped rooms. I booked for only two nights but ended up staying four very comfortably. My room was a single which, unfortunately meant a single bed. Due to the shape of the room it made sense but I think a double up against the wall would have fit easily enough. While I slept well, I’ll check the booking more carefully next time. There was a work desk, luggage rack, open wardrobe, TV, free WiFi and kettle with tea & coffee. There was a delightful view from the opening, full length windows. The washroom was small but efficient. The shower was good, the toiletries good quality and the towels were soft. The receptionists were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast is available onsite for a fee. Complimentary coffee was available all day from the machine in the lobby and, in the morning, pastries were also on offer. I walked everywhere easily, with public transport and many restaurants and shops nearby. This was a great base for my first time in Bordeaux and I would stay here again.

Excellent location with cheap good breakfast in the cafe one side and equally good value dinner in the restaurant the other Room recently refurbished. Small but comfortable with a good shower. Some road noise.

Very convenient location. Wouldn’t stay for longer than 2 nights as the rooms are very small. Even though looks like it has been recently renovated, the walls have a lot of marks on them and there is still a lot of old features that need updating (e.g. air con). But for the location it was fine for us.

Property had ideal location central and accessible to City of Bordeaux. Room was clean and comfortable breakfast adequate. Would recommend this Hotel. Staff at reception and dining area very courteous.

Great location. Lady at check in was very nice. Hotel is well located with shopping, restaurants, and bars close by and easy to walk to. The rooms are small but we were aware of that before booking. For just 2 of us, it was fine. We would stay here again
