We loved our 5 night stay at Hotel BH Bicentenario! We felt completely safe with the extra layers of security, the location was absolutely perfect for walking to restaurants and shops, and we never had trouble getting an uber when we needed to venture to more distant parts of the city. Juan Diego at reception was so helpful and efficient (with perfect English) and we found the common spaces to be chic yet inviting. Breakfast had a variety of choices and we appreciated that it opened very early as we were able to eat before our tours began. Our room was large and sleek; we especially loved the floor-to-ceiling windows with the electric shade. We did hear city noise, as this is a vibrant part of Candelaria, but it was never enough to keep us awake. The shower was awesome with great pressure and plenty of hot water, the mini fridge was perfect for storing some light bites, and the bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows. Highly recommend!

This hotel is ranked as a 4 star hotel. However, it’s more like a 2 star hotel. The property staff is very nice. However, my overall experience at the hotel was bad. They gave me a room in the third floor with view to the park in front of the hotel, meaning it was always noisy and my view was not nice since the park is full of homeless people. In addition, the hot water in the shower was not working and the sink was clogged. I found weird that the room didn’t had AC/ heater. Bogota was very cold at night and I was freezing in the room. This was a very disappointing experience. Will not recommend staying here.

Me gustó que está bien ubicada y muchas partes de la ciudad se puede llegar caminando: teleférico para cerro Montserrate, museos, plaza central, etc. Una oportunidad de mejora es que pongan algo en el piso de la ducha, ya que es muy resbaladizo.

The hotel was beautiful and as mentioned in other reviews, the view of the mountains was incredible. What made this trip especially memorable for me was two particular staff members! Andrea at the front Lobby desk was like seeing a close friend every day! Her warmth and friendliness was comforting for this solo traveler! Also, my driver to the airport was Esneider Fonseca with Turismo Bogota! We talked and laughed all the way and by the time we arrived - i was sad to say good bye to him!
