The 1 bedroom condo was very nice. Everything one would need was there, except for a second sheet for the pull out bed and a fly swatter ( a few flies slip in the door).The small complex was quiet, safe and pleasant. Great location too, located across the street from the Bay, with several nearby access point to the beach. State Park just a 10 minute walk away. Corn hole game right out our back door, as were other outdoor games. Pool/hot tub was nice but one drawback was the pool didn't open until 10. My wife likes to do her water exercise in the morning. 10 is too late. Hot tub is open 24/7 however. Only other small criticisms were the pull out sofa was pretty small, an adult would have to lay diagonally. Also the screen door was a bit of a bear to open and close. Some lubrication of the tracks may help. The own was very communicative and helpful. We would return. Thanks.

Great Couple’s Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a last minute weekend getaway. Birch Bay is one of our favorite places to visit and this little condo has everything you need. The space has been recently updated, and the location is close to the heart of town and the beach. We found the bed comfortable, kitchen adequately stocked, and the shower was great. Unfortunately, we did not feel we could give it a full five star review for a few reasons. Upon arrival, we found three long black hairs—one on the counter, one in the fridge, and one on the comforter in the bedroom. These were probably left behind by housekeeping, but very obvious and unsettling. There was also a pan in the cupboard totally encrusted with baked on food. And while the couch looks nice, it is small and uncomfortable. Maybe you could have two small children sleep on the pullout sofa, but definitely not teenagers or adults. Finally, the listing title makes it seem like there is a private hot tub included in the space which is misleading. It is actually located in a small room in the clubhouse accessible by all units in the complex.
