The woman who checked me in was friendly, courteous, sincere & professional. She actually remembered me from my last stay a few months back. She noticed how tired I was and her eagerness to check me was greatly appreciated. I prefer My Place Hotels because they are always consistent. Clean rooms, warm, friendly staff and comfortable beds/bedding. These rooms really do have a feeling similar to my own home.

Staff Experience

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We expected there to be dishes available, but that was my oversight for not reading the hotel information more carefully. We arrived late due to train delays but called ahead to inform the hotel. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was unpleasant—the staff member who assisted us was unfriendly and seemed irritated, and I had to call multiple times before he responded letting us in the hotel. (It appeared he had just woken up, though that’s just an assumption.) Over the course of our stay, we interacted with three different employees—two were unfriendly, but one was very kind and helpful. Overall, we would consider staying here again, mainly because we didn’t require much interaction with the staff.
